What is a ceramic coating?

A ceramic coating is a liquid protective layer that bonds to your car's clear coat and hardens into a slick, glossy shell. It sits on top of the paint, so dirt, road grime, bird droppings and water have a harder time sticking. Water beads up and rolls off instead of drying into spots, and a regular wash takes less effort because the surface stays slick.

A wax or spray sealant wears off in weeks or months. A coating is built to last for years. We offer two levels: a coating on its own lasts about 3 years, and a coating applied after a polish lasts 3 to 5 years.

Why polish before coating?

A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, including swirl marks and dull spots. That's why most customers choose a coating together with a 1-step or 2-step polish. The polish removes the swirls and brings back the gloss first, then the coating seals that finish in. If your paint is new or already in great shape, coating only is the more affordable choice. How it works

Text us your car's year, make and model, plus a photo of the paint if you can. We'll recommend coating only or a coating with a polish and give you a price. On the day, we come to your home or work in Fresno, Clovis or a nearby city. We wash and decontaminate the paint, polish it if you chose a polish, and apply the coating. We bring our own water and power, so you don't need a hose or an outlet.

When we're done, we'll explain how to wash the car so the coating lasts as long as possible.
